Once the public is fed up, a bloodless revolution that would bring the country to a standstill is simply to stop spending.  for 30 days just don't buy anything.  Draw all your money out and put it in a credit union, cease all purchases except that which is required to sustain life and what it all crumble.

The current gridlock in congress is representative of the people who put the people in office.  Among the populace no one can agree and the very people that are voted into office carry that with them.  The other factor in the equation is the disproportionate influence from lobbyists representing special interests.  If the loudest voice our representatives hear is that of the lobbyists then naughty on the represented for not raising a louder voice.  No amount of money provided by special interests to congressional campaign funds can override the voting power of an active constituency.....get off your ass and do something! Call, write, email your reps!
